Teijin DuPont Films Limited'sUtsunomiya-shi (Utsunomiya City) factory in Tochigi-ken (Tochigi Prefecture), Japan, has returned tofull-scale production, three months after it had suspended PET (polyethylene terephthalate aka plastic) filmproduction following the 9.0 Magnitude that shook Japan on March 12, 2011. It had resumed partial operation on April 30.
Another Teijin plant in Ibaraki-ken (Ibaraki Prefecture)was back to full steam inlate March, and now all Teijin Groupfacilities nationwide are now operating on a normal basis.
