Desirée van den Berg was crowned Miss Nederland 2010

Desirée van den Berg, beauty queen 23-year-old brunette from Santpoort, was crowned Miss Nederland 2010 (or Miss Nerherlands 2010) during the pageant at the Theater De Efteling in Kaatsheuvel, last Sunday July 4th. She was chosen by the jury at Efteling Theatre. Second place went to Jana Voyvodich from Haarlem. Gladys Fraenk finished third in Rotterdam.

Twelve missing competed for the title. After a round of introductions were the beauties of the bikini round and round in gala dresses Addy van den Krommenacker.

Desiree struggles on August 23 for the title of Miss Universe 2010 in Las Vegas. In October she goes to Miss World 2010 in China and on December 4th to Miss Earth 2010 in Vietnam.

Miss Netherlands Wins Miss Tourism International 2010

The last beauty pageant of 2010 took place on December 31st when Miss Netherlands, Nathalie den Dekker, was chosen Miss Tourism International 2010 during the annual gala held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. 21-year old Nathalie is a student at Utrecht university and stands 1.68 m in height. She had also competed at Miss Supranational 2010 in Poland.

The 1st and 2nd runner-ups were Misses Australia and Venezuela, while Philippines and Mongolia completed the Top 5.
